Special Message Today..August 4, 2008 Dr. Mcfaddon found no more lumps on Scooby Doo!  She said it is safe to say today he is cancer free.  He still needs to finish out his chemo treatments he has 7 or 8 more treatments plus radiation to make sure the cancer does not return.  We are praising God for His goodness and His unmeasurable Divine Mercy We can not thank all of you enough for all YOUR prayers...and those of you who donated money thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  If you are interested in seeing how much more the medication is going to be and or how much more the Vet needs to continue to treat Scooby please WRITE ME and if you would rather donate money to the Vet's office then a personal account let me know I will check with Dr. McFaddon and see that it can be sent directly there.  URGENT Prayer for 5 Year Old "Angel Dog" Scooby Doo  click here for latest update June 27, he was diagnosed with Lymph Node Cancer -   On June 30, 2008, the Vet at that time...gave Scooby ONLY 6 weeks to live....   7/2/08 - we heard from the "Dog Wizard" in Charlotte...their compassion & willingness to assist my daughter and  family is a pure blessing from above... Thank you Gretchen & Renee.  7/3/08 - We received a call from the "Dog Wizard" .  They have supporters that want to make sure Scooby is comfortable and able to get the medical care and medication he needs....they asked us to set up the DONATE button.  The kindness that is coming from people we don't even know is unspeakable...I just know this is God's hand showing that HE takes care of all HIS creatures...Amen   7/4/08 - DONATE BUTTON SET UP FOR SCOOBY'S MEDICAL CARE    7/8/08 - Letter sent out by Gretchen from the (Dog Wizard, Inc. www.thedogwizard.com  Charlotte: 704-724-0837 Lake Norman: 704-724-0837 This story is about a dog that we trained named Scooby Doo.  He actually saved his owners from death in a house fire.  He continuously jumped on their bed (which he had never done before) until they woke up to escape the house fire just in time.  They were able to save a couple other cats, but lost every thing else they owned (including several other animals).  After the fire Scooby suffered from "post traumatic stress" syndrome and became aggressive toward strangers and certain situations, so we took Scooby and trained him to gain his confidence back.  He has been doing great and patiently waiting for his owners to build their house back, but recently he was diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately his owners are unable to afford the cost for treatment due to all their other misfortunes.  If you scroll through and read through the link below, you can read about Scooby's life and recent misfortune  The family is reaching out for help with the medical expenses, so there is a "DONATE" button if anyone would like to donate any amount of money to help, so that his family can start treatments to hopefully save his life as he did theirs.    Thanks is advance for all your help.  Gretchen (The Dog Wizard, Inc.) 7/9/08 - Their Vet contacted  North Carolina State (Veterinarian Medicine) They have an appointment for Scooby Friday 7/11. 7/14/08 Anna told me after his 1st treatment of Chemo him lymph nodes went down consideralby. 7/18/08 - Scooby's appt with vet for blood work Monday 7/21/08 7/21/08 - Scooby after 2nd chemo treatment... 7/22/08 Scooby is not doing well after this second chemo treatment... he is not eating...please keep him in your prayers.. 7/25/08 Scooby had to be taken to the hospital on Wednesday 7/23 because he was throwing up and could not keep anything down.  On Thursday 7/24 Anna called the hospital first thing in the morning...they told her he did find...he acted like he wanted to help them with their patients all night...Neman & Anna were able to pick Scooby up Friday...7/25/.. Please pray for Anna, Neman & Zen and Scooby. Amen Anna sent me this update yesterday... We took Scooby to our friends house this weekend. He enjoyed playing outside on Sunday and didn't want to go back inside. We got worried Sunday afternoon because by the time we got him to come inside and rest, he was panting very hard. We thought he must be overheating fast because of the chemo, but Dr. McFadden says it is more likely the Prednisone. He must have slept for about 4 hours and then he started feeling feisty last night and wanted to play with Neman after I had gone to bed. Thank God! Last Monday 7/21 he got Vincristine (chemo wk 2) Last Wednesday 7/23 he was hospitalized and kept overnight so he could be given IV Fluids and all other meds injectable (shots) because he wouldn't eat much since the chemo treatment mon. He had uncontrollable vomiting, very pitiful! 7/28 Today he was given adriamycin (chemo wk 3) We are going to continue to feed him the low residue canned IAMS dog food. It has not made him sick yet. That was started last week after his admission into the hospital. This is the last week of Predisone, so the overheating should subside. We will be continuing the anti-nausea and pain meds for now. CVS has really made us and Scooby feel very comfortable. When I let him out of the truck today at CVS, he went right up the sidewalk toward the front entrance without anyone like he knew where he was and didn't need to wait for his leash or nec

If you look below...you can see...Scooby Doo never took his eyes off of Zen... outside he kept his eye on him all the time...  They hardly went anywhere without Scooby Doo as you see below... Scooby loved Chaos.   Scooby and one of our cats Chaos became best friends… We lost Chaos to kidney failure. The above picture is showing Chaos (before he died) licking Scooby's ear. Scooby was so sad...after they lost Chaos They lost their 2 cats in the fire, Skitz and Baby Jerry...Baby Jerry was little Zen's (my 3 yr old grandson) kitten.  He was not very old.  They got him a little after Chaos died.   The house fire...June 18, 2007           If it weren't for Scooby...Anna and Neman would not have awaken because of the Carbon Monoxide.  As you can see the bed, it was covered in black soot.  The fireman told them that most people just wake up from the sound of the alarm, and fall right back to sleep because of the Carbon Monoxide. After the fire, Scooby Doo suffered from post-traumatic stress.   They had to send him away for 2 weeks to get retrained...a specialty behavior class.  He was "on guard" 24/7 worrying that nothing would happen again to his little family. They took Scooby Doo to the "Dog Wizard" in Charlotte, NC...they not only helped him then...    7/2/08  But....yesterday responded to a plea to help with anything they can do for Scooby... Gretchen, Renee...may Our Sweet Lord send and surround you with Angels above.  May they  embrace you and thank you for all your loving support. Amen.   Dear Prayer Angels...please Keep Scooby Doo in your prayers...that this cancer will heal...and give Scooby more time.  My daughter is hoping that he can hold on long enough to live in the rebuilt home.  She wants to live back in their own home, all together, so Scooby can see that they will be okay and she can show her thanks to him. Thank you Jesus for Scooby Doo...and all the love he has given my precious little family.  If there is a way...Sweet Lord that You see he can stay here a little longer...we would love it...if You need to take Him to "pet heaven" we understand...Amen. ZEN 'S PRAYER I asked my 3 year old grandson Zen (Scooby's pal) to pray that I will be able to come down there and be with them real soon...
